About The Role
The Sales Manager is a sales leadership position with a solid line to the SVP of Sales and Marketing and a dotted line to the Principals’ of the company. Located in Oakville ON, CA, this position will require travel and interaction with internal leadership teams across all business lines and with external partners on a day-to-day basis.
The successful candidate will collaborate with the senior leadership team to identify and create the business strategy and execute the plan to strengthen existing national client relationships. Manage, support and grow sales nationwide. This includes, managing our Brand Ambassador ensuring effective team-selling culture promoting innovation and inspiration as effective sales growth tools.
A fundamental measure of success for this position will be meeting North America’s business development benchmarks and creating sustainable revenue growth. The successful candidate will have extensive upper management sales experience.
Coach, develop and lead a growing team of 25+ high-performance sales professionals. Provide clear objectives and performance guidance. Identify areas for improvement and growth within each territory. Ensure Brand behavior and policy adherence.
Reinforce annual department targets and execute within approved operating limits; attain goals and objectives. Ensure margin / profitability targets are met and aligned with the business direction.
Develop, manage and execute strategic sales plans to meet current and future sales requirements. Coordinate with other sales and operational teams as required.
Attend to Sales customers daily requirements
Ensure that specific knowledge transfer is conducted in a safe and efficient manner and that appropriate company personnel are trained to develop strategic relationships with key clients and industry trade groups for existing product lines.
Provide field training for direct and non-direct sales staff.
Achieves sales goals associated with revenue and profit targets.
Sets strategic approach to identify and pursue growth opportunities and holds their direct and dotted line teams accountable for the execution.
Identifies function and department issues, problems, and opportunities to support continuous process improvement initiatives.
Drives utilization of JF Fabrics tools and processes (i.e., Customer portal, toolkits apps and digital catalogues)
Provides accurate reporting and forecasting of sales demands to the entity leadership team and to regional and/or global sales leadership.
Manages the development of new methods, processes, and procedures; resolves highly complex issues.

Abilities and Skills

Base Salary commensurate with experience, Medial, Dental, Life Insurance.
