Requirements:
Valid G2 license
Valid G drivers license with clean driving record
Must adhere to all TSSA codes and regulation, appliance manufacturer specifications, and any other codes that may be in effect
Position:
Position is 40-50 hours per week, Monday to Friday with the option of working all hours in 4 days rather than 5
No on-call shifts
Rate of pay is $18-23/hour plus vacation pay
The position primarily entails installing gas lines for full home generators
Ensure vehicle is properly stocked each day
Strap the piping and ensure all material is properly and safely stored in truck
Keep clients property clean and damage free when on site
Communicate with clients about the work performed and answer any questions
Communicate with other staff pertinent information
Complete necessary paper work
Attend weekly staff meetings

Skills:
Must be able to properly use a measuring tape, a level, a drill, and a saw
Table mounted threader
Must be able to properly paint the line
Must be able to run flex
Drill through concrete
Must be able to determine if existing pipe is appropriate size, guidance will be provided
Must be able to assess for non-compliances on site
Must be able to determine if gas meter is the correct size for new appliance
Must be comfortable working independently
Must be able to meet the physical demands of the job; stamina to work long hours, ability to carry and move equipment
Training and guidance will be provided so if you do not currently have those skills because you are new you are still encouraged to apply. You will train directly under experienced staff when you first begin. Position will be mostly independent afterwards. However, you will continue to have direct access to your supervisor.
